築50年の農家の住宅をリノベーションした住まい。

市街化調整区域のため新築が制限されているエリアに立地し、森に囲まれ家の横に畑が広がるという豊かな自然環境に立つ。

暮らしのイメージや周辺環境などの条件から、床面積およそ3分の1を減築。そのため変形の切妻屋根と継ぎ接ぎの壁面からなる特徴的な外観が生まれている。

木の構造体と白い壁からなる空間で、1階床から2階天井までおよそ8mの吹き抜け越しに柔らかい光が落ちる。随所に取り入れた地元産材が、味わいと快適性をもたらしている。

This home is a renovated 50-year-old farmhouse.

It is located in an urbanization control area where new construction is restricted, and stands in a rich natural environment surrounded by forests and fields beside the house.

Due to the lifestyle and surrounding environment, the floor space was reduced by about one-third. This resulted in a distinctive exterior with an irregular gable roof and patchwork walls.

The space is made up of wooden structures and white walls, and soft light falls through an approximately 8m atrium that stretches from the first floor floor to the second floor ceiling. Local materials are used throughout, adding character and comfort.
